The ruling deity of this region of India, is a guest in Gopinath Ji’s temple. Handed to us for keeping by a branch of the extended family tree, who were unable to maintain him. Participation in all the celebrations is a must for Jagannath Ji.

This website is currently under construction, and will be so for the foreseeable future - this is the second design & technology iteration, the older site cannot be updated due to some linitations in its design and that it was built on an older tech platform which is obsolete now.
The old site has, however, been made to work after a fashion and is available here. There are some pages that are not working and some which have partial output, but, I thought it would be great to have the site up as a reminder to what was there earlier!
We shall be delighted to hear from you if you have any suggestions, criticism, raves, rants - whatever you want to say, please write in using the form in the contact page and we would try our level best to satisfy those desires...
We also encourage you to like us on Facebook and share the site with your friends! The buttons to that are just below, so please go ahead and hit them!
The Gallery has gone through a complete revamp! Our earlier gallery was created with Google Picasa as it's backend. Google has discontinued Picasa and the new avatar, Google Photos, does not have the functionality required to support a site like ours. Luckily, they have maintained functionality for the time being for content uploaded earlier so that our archive gallery still works, though we do not know for how long that will be so. You can see the old gallery here
The new gallery is self hosted, and probably does not have as much functionality as the older gallery, but, the advantage is that it is completely under our control and, also, you can now upload pictures directly from here without any help or intervention required from anyone else...
We are also gradually moving the archived content from Picasa to flickr to maintain usability of those albums considering that Google may withdraw the Picasa albums at some stage...
Like the Gallery, other pages have undergone changes also! You can now add events by yourself without having to refer back to me to add your event!
In Articles, in addition to the earlier stories, we also have a Family Cookbook where you can share recipes! You can update both directly from the website - see the Home>About page for details and instructions.
We are working on a News page where you can update the family on news from your part of the family and this should be ready soon...
